On 23rd November, the collaboration between G4S Secure Solutions and client Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) and several other security providers was recognised at the annual Security & Fire Excellence Awards.
JLL is a leading global provider of real estate services. Awarded Security Partnering Initiative of the Year, this was deserved recognition for a complex project which saw three main security providers realign their security offering in line with the markets in which JLL clients operate.
This realignment created a layer of complexity to the mobilisation, with each supplier transitioning sites and employees, whilst also bringing in new sites and new employees, all completed during a six-week contract mobilisation period.
To deliver JLL’s vision for the contract, it was imperative that G4S and the other security providers worked collaboratively during mobilisation so that the sites and security teams transitioned successfully within the tight timeline.

- Providing mutual support
- Preserving bespoke uniforms
- Communicating regularly and forming a strategy steering group
- Sharing site specific security information in a confidential manner
These activities were integral to enhancing the client’s reputation as a leading provider of real estate and investment management services. In total, 98% of employees successfully and happily transferred.
