We strive to work collaboratively with our stakeholders, clients, suppliers, contractors and local communities to support their environmental aspirations and to drive positive environmental change throughout our supply chain.
Operating in a sustainable way has always been close to our hearts as it’s one of our company values. We’ve started our journey to Net Zero, with the aim to achieve Carbon Net Zero by 2030.
The Group has appointed Planet Mark, a sustainability consultant, to support our commitment to Net Zero. The Planet Mark programme has enabled us to set and deliver a credible Net Zero plan including target-setting, planning, roadmap creation, carbon reduction initiatives for Scope 1, 2 and 3, ongoing annual governance and offsetting as well as stakeholder engagement and communications.
Planet Mark believes we must all work together to embrace sustainability which of course is wholly in line with the Vertas Group values of partnership and sustainability. Planet Mark works passionately with organisations to empower their people to halt the climate crisis and improve society in everything they do.
We look forward to continuing this partnership with our consultant in order to efficiently and effectively achieve our Net Zero 2030 goals.
