Mountjoy comlete redecoration works for University of Southampton

Mountjoy recently carried out redecoration works to the common room of Romero Halls, a student hall of residence at the University of Southampton.

The works involved delivering a fresh coat of paint to the walls, ceilings, and woodwork within the common room, as well as carrying out some additional repairs that were required, and reinstating the fixtures and fittings within the room.

All works were completed free of charge by members of Mountjoy’s Maintenance division, including Tanya Roxborough, Maintenance Director, Chris Attwell, Head of Maintenance, Mike Morgan, our Contract Manager at the University of Southampton, Rob Hunt, a Foreman at the university, and Contract Managers, Wayne Cheshire and Sammy Dawes.

All materials were provided at no cost by our suppliers, Travis Perkins and Brewers. These works will provide a positive space for students to socialise and were coordinated by our University of Southampton contract team, who are responsible for planned and reactive maintenance at the university’s halls of residences.
