ECS, part of PTSG‘s Electrical Services Division, has been shortlisted for Best Supplier to the Social Housing Sector at the 2026 Safety & Compliance Awards, hosted by the Association of Safety and Compliance Professionals.
The awards ceremony takes place on 8 September at ICC Newport, where ECS will be recognised among finalists for their work delivering high-volume electrical compliance programmes to social housing providers, local authorities and public sector clients across England, Scotland and Wales.
The shortlisting reflects ECS’s long-term partnership with Amplius, one of the UK’s largest housing providers, responsible for approximately 15,000 homes across the Midlands, East and Southeast of England.
ECS’s team of qualified engineers operates a digital-first approach to certification, returning audit-ready EICRs promptly and enabling compliance teams to act on accurate data immediately. A 98% first-time fix rate – with the remaining 2% resolved within four working days – has minimised resident disruption and eliminated the majority of re-visit costs that characterised previous compliance delivery.
Tom Purdy, Head of Asset Compliance at Amplius, said ECS had been a reliable and proactive partner in delivering their EICR programme, with capacity, communication and technical consistency helping to remove the backlog, improve compliance and provide greater confidence in the safety of their homes.
This year’s ASCP Awards attracted a record number of entries. Matt Sharp, Chief Executive of ASCP, said the 2026 shortlist represented organisations genuinely raising the bar for what safety and compliance looks like in practice.
