PTSG has secured three shortlisting’s at the 2026 PFM Awards, spanning both Individual and Partnership categories.
On Friday it was announced that Terry Wilcock, Group Health and Wellbeing Director, has been named a finalist for the Unsung Hero award, one of five Individual categories recognising people making a difference within the facilities management sector.
Terry has spent the last three years working full-time on the mental health and wellbeing of every person across a workforce of more than 3,200 colleagues. In that time, he’s helped build a Mental Health First Aid network of approximately 100 trained colleagues, a Health and Wellbeing Hub accessible anonymously to all employees and an Employee Assistance Programme connecting people to qualified professionals within hours.
It’s quiet, consistent work. The kind that often doesn’t make the headlines but changes things for the people it reaches.
When he heard the news Terry said: “I’m honoured and genuinely speechless.”
Greg Ward, Chief Executive Officer at PTSG, said: “Terry does the work that matters most and talks about it least. This shortlisting is well deserved recognition for someone who genuinely cares about every single person in this business.”
The 2026 PFM Awards ceremony takes place on 4th November at The Brewery, London.
Alongside Terry’s Unsung Hero Award, PTSG is also shortlisted for Guardian’s work with NHS Grampian, in the categories Partners in Healthcare Settings and Partners in Expert Services, Large Estates.
