Kier Places has been awarded a place on the Crown Commercial Service’s (CCS) £35bn Facilities Management and Workplace Services RM6232 Framework.
Kier has been appointed to Lot Group 2 – Hard Facilities Management, Lot 2b and Lot 2c on the Framework.
Under the four-year Framework, which includes a focus on net zero and supply chain partnerships, Kier Places will provide the full range of Hard Services including mechanical and electrical engineering maintenance, and internal and external building fabric maintenance, as well as a number of statutory obligations including asbestos management and electrical testing.
CCS supports the public sector to achieve maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services.
In 2020/21, CCS helped the public sector to achieve commercial benefits worth over £2.04bn – supporting world-class public services that offer best value for taxpayers.
