The Workman team, led by Gareth Soar, Partner, is excited to be working with Ardent Companies UK on The Royal Exchange following Ardent’s acquisition of the retail element of the London asset from Oxford Properties.
Ardent Companies UK (a subsidiary of US-based real estate investment and asset management firm The Ardent Companies) completed its purchase of the luxury retail centre with 51,400 sq. ft of space late last week, as reported by The Times.
The Royal Exchange is home to brands including Tiffany & Co, Hermès, Bremont and Fortnum & Mason, all set within the historic architecture of the landmark Grade-I listed building, located in the City of London.
The transaction represents the latest addition to Ardent UK’s retail portfolio, joining Touchwood shopping centre in Solihull – where property management services are also provided by Workman – and its strategic national industrial platform of more than 2.25 million sq. ft.
Gareth said: “The Royal Exchange is a prestigious high-profile retail asset in the heart of the City, with so much potential. Our Workman team is looking forward to working with Andrew Hilston and Richard Benson at The Ardent Companies and all occupiers, suppliers, and partners to make this fantastic asset a great success.”
