The Sodexo Energy & Resources business has appointed Janine Brand as health, safety, environment and quality (HSEQ) manager.
She joins from Aberdeen-based Hydrasun, where she led the company through the Safety Certificate for Contractors (SCC) for the Netherlands and Germany with zero findings. She also successfully project managed the commissioning and installation of a Hydrogen Refuelling Station for TotalEnergies with zero accidents and incidents.
Ms Brand has 12 years’ experience within HSE, where she was the HSE lead for Offshore Energies UK (OEUK), the representative body for the UK offshore energy industries.
At OEUK she authored the Oil and Gas UK (OGUK) 2019 H&S Report and technical note for the oil and gas industry on the use of the emergency response and rescue vessels.
In her new role, Ms Brand will lead the HSEQ for the Energy & Resources business, covering fire, food services, wellbeing, and environment, Janine will also provide coaching and direction on compliance.

The company’s energy and resources business delivers catering, hospitality, welfare, FM services, property management and refurbishments services to over 40 onshore energy and offshore and marine client sites throughout the UK.
