Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has announced the appointment of Liam Simpson as Group Health and Safety Director, reinforcing its commitment to the highest standards of safety across some of the UK’s most complex and high-risk working environments.
PTSG operates nationwide across multiple specialist divisions – working at height, with electrical systems and in water and fire protection. According to the Health and Safety Executive, falls from height remain the leading cause of workplace fatalities in Britain, while electrical incidents continue to result in significant injuries each year. Against this backdrop, PTSG continues to place health, safety and wellbeing at the very centre of its operations, ensuring that every colleague returns home safely at the end of the day.
Liam brings over 20 years’ experience in health, safety and risk management, gained across aviation, construction, manufacturing, security and critical infrastructure. His career includes senior leadership roles with Wilson James, Weir Group and GardaWorld, following ten years of distinguished service with the British Army. A Chartered Member of IOSH, Liam is recognised for his ability to deliver strategic change, build resilient teams, and foster a culture of care in high-risk environments.
