Pettinaroli UK Academy officially opens

Fratelli Pettinaroli Group, an Italian brass manufacturing company, has chosen its West Midlands-based UK operation as its international training centre as its preferred location.

The company states that there has never been a greater need for training in the use of its products, as water distribution systems are the transportation for energy within buildings.

Through simply enhancing the way hydronics systems are designed, commissioned, and controlled can make significant savings in energy while improving occupant comfort and wellbeing.

Pettinaroli confirms that it understands how the FM sector employs more practically-minded people who learn by hands-on training methods, which is why it has created practical demonstration rigs to provide trainee engineers, apprentices and commissioning engineers with the necessary experience in a classroom environment. Experienced tutors are on hand at the training centre to help guide and provide explanation of how to use test equipment and further explain the results.

Pettinaroli committed to make its deep knowledge available to customers to help the hydronic sector to advance and create more healthy and sustainable places where people live, work, learn and play.

Pettinaroli UK aims to provide national and international training through the academy that opened on 15 November 2022 at its Hamstead offices by the Lord Mayor of Birmingham Maureen Cornish JP, who was joined by Pettinaroli Group chief executive officer Ugo Pettinaroli.

The opening is seen as being perfectly timed to meet the need of FMs and estate managers to save energy and protect their investments in buildings. By tapping into the wealth of Pettinaroli UK and knowledge and understanding, its customers have a unique opportunity continue to make positive contributions to the local and national economy through the delivery of efficient and healthy environments.

Mr Pettinaroli further emphasised the importance of creating a network with local universities and technical schools to combine with the company’s own students to facilitate learning programmes.
