Sodexoโs Corporate Servicesโ division has announced it has secured a four-year extension to its soft and hard FM contract with BAE Systems Munitions. The new contract has an estimated value of circa ยฃ16m over the four years.
The company has been delivering services for BAE Systemโs four Munitions locations since 2019. Its 60-strong team has developed a strong relationship at each of the four sites, Washington, Tyne & Wear; Radway Green, Crewe; Glascoed, near Usk in south Wales and Hexham in Northumberland.
Sodexo CEO Corporate Servicesย Julie Ennis said:ย โThrough their understanding of BAE Systemโs needs, and those of its people, we have become a valuable partner and extension to their Munitions business, and I am proud that their expertise and excellent service delivery has resulted in this four year extension.โ
Pagabo has opened bidding for its brand-new Mechanical & Electrical Solutions Framework, valued at ยฃ545 million.
A range of specialist M&E subcontractors will be appointed to the new framework, which will run for four years and has been designed as a solutions-based offering to complement its wider suite of frameworks.
Jonathan Parker, Head of Construction at Pagabo, said: โFramework users will be able to appoint suppliers via direct award or further competition, making sure they are able to procure exactly what they need, how they need and when they need. As with all of our frameworks, there are a number of places reserved for SMEs, which when combined with the regional breakdown ensures fair access for organisations of any size, provides excellent choice for clients and makes sure that the maximum positive social value for communities can be achieved.โ
NG Bailey has secured a five-year contract to provide maintenance services for the home of football, Wembley National Stadium.
The contract will see the UKโs largest independent services and engineering business providing a full range of planned preventative and reactive mechanical and electrical maintenance services, ensuring the famous stadiumโs estate operates smoothly and efficiently.
John Cooper, Operations Director at NG Bailey, said: โWith a proven track record in delivering complex maintenance projects in other high footfall settings, we are looking forward to using our expertise to maintain and enhance the facilities of one of the UKโs most iconic sporting and entertainment venues.โ
The collaboration between VINCI Facilities and the Ministry of Defence Built Estate in providing Facilities Management (FM) services celebrated its first anniversary at the beginning of April this year.
This contract, which was awarded by the Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO), sees VINCI Facilities managing the maintenance of over 6,200 buildings and infrastructure assets at 59 military sites in London and the South East.
Grant Cristall, FDIS Director VINCI Facilities said: โOur first year of the FDIS Built Estate South East Contract has been a steep learning curve. It has taken some time to get a number of the service deliverables up and running successfully in this ground-breaking Contract, but with the support of DIO and our military customers we enter year two in a good place.โ
