Elior UK proudly marks the 20th anniversary of its annual Awards for Excellence, a tradition that has celebrated the hard work, dedication, and innovation of colleagues across all its sites for the last 20 years.
This year’s awards ceremony, hosted by Sue Perkins, was held at Kelham Hall, Newark, on 27th March 2025 and attended by over 250 colleagues, supply partners and clients joining to celebrate Elior’s highest performing colleagues and sites.
Since its inception, Elior’s Awards for Excellence has recognised outstanding contributions in approximately 14 categories ranging from teamwork, leadership and innovation to community engagement and operational and culinary excellence. The awards programme serves as a cornerstone of the company’s commitment to fostering a positive workplace culture and acknowledging the invaluable efforts of its workforce.

This year’s event showcased remarkable talent and achievements, with winners including Lisa Tomkins, who works at a National Physical Laboratory site, who received the CSR & Social Value award for her commitment to achieving a reduction in environmental impact and helping to make Elior a more sustainable business; and Andrew Watts, winner of the ‘You made a Difference’ award – the only award winner voted for by fellow colleagues. Andrew, who works at an Anchor Homes site, was recognised as a ‘catalyst for positive change’ who had introduced a number of engaging initiatives to enhance the lives of the residents.
